Export a conversation from WhatsApp, drop the file here and get a dated, printable PDF transcript with names, timestamps and photos in place. Chats are among the most private files that exist, so this tool has no upload step at all: the conversation is parsed and laid out entirely inside your browser.
Your files never leave your device.

On both Android and iPhone, open the chat, tap the contact or group name at the top, scroll down and choose Export chat. WhatsApp asks whether to include media: without media it produces a small .txt file with the whole transcript, with media it produces a .zip containing the transcript plus every photo, voice note and document it still has. Send the file to yourself by email or save it to your files, then drop it here.
It can be, as supporting evidence, and courts in many countries routinely admit printed chats, but the rules vary by jurisdiction and by case. A transcript you produced yourself can be challenged, since a text file is editable; stronger forms of proof include showing the chat live on the phone, a certified forensic acquisition, or a notarial deed. This tool renders the export faithfully and adds nothing to it, but it cannot certify authenticity: for a serious dispute, ask a lawyer what your court accepts.
Because the chat was exported without media. In that mode WhatsApp replaces every photo, video and voice note with a short marker in the text file, and the files themselves are not included, so no tool can show them. Export the chat again choosing Attach media and the photos will be embedded in the PDF.
No. The export file is read, parsed and laid out as a PDF by JavaScript running in your browser tab, and the finished PDF is written straight to your disk. A chat is one of the most private documents a person can hold, which is exactly why this tool was built without any upload step. You can verify it: the conversion works even with the network disconnected, once the page has loaded.
The pages are drawn as high-resolution images. That choice is what makes emoji, accents and every writing system come out exactly as they look on your phone, using the fonts of your own device. A text-based PDF would need a single font capable of every script and emoji, and would still get right-to-left text wrong. If you need machine-readable text, keep the exported .txt next to the PDF: it is the same content.
Yes, completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark, no page limit and no per-conversation fee. It runs in your browser, so your chats never leave your device.
