Questions & answers
01Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
Yes. Use the range slider for a quick contiguous selection, then click any page to add or remove it individually. The output keeps exactly the highlighted pages, in order.
02Do I need to know the page numbers in advance?
No. Every page is shown as a thumbnail preview, so you select visually instead of guessing numbers.
03Is my PDF uploaded to split it?
No, and this changed: the previews were always drawn locally, but the extraction itself used to run on our server, which meant the whole document was uploaded after you had already seen it in your own browser. Both halves now run in the same place, so nothing is transmitted and the old 25 MB ceiling is gone with the upload that required it.
04Does splitting change the pages that come out?
No. The selected pages are copied into a new document exactly as they were, with their text layer, fonts and image resolution intact. What does not come across is anything that belonged to the document as a whole rather than to a page: bookmarks pointing at pages you dropped, and form fields whose logic spanned the removed pages.
